I really hope everyone had a restful break. It was great to get back to art class again. I loved hearing about everyone’s vacations. I have some great project ideas and hope I can implement a few of them this session.
Today’s 3-5th grade class began a project based on Georgia O’Keeffe’s flower paintings. They got a great start. I am really excited about their learning more advanced watercolor techniques. I didn’t get pics this week, but promise to share some next week.
The K-2nd class colored their portraits and rolled ink over the glue lines. The pictues above are from the K-2nd group. They were working very fast today, so we started a quick O’Keeffe flower project. Next week, we will work on slowing down. : ) It takes some time to regain focus after a break.
It was great to see my Wednesday kids today! Great work!
