My busy K-2nd grade group did these watercolor resist birds today. We used oil pastels to draw the birds and add pattern. Then we painted the birds with liquid watercolor. This was a sweet ending to our five week session.
My K-2nd grade group finished their Paul Klee Cats today. These have so much character! We drew our cats with oil pastel on brown paper and colored them with chalk pastel. I think this is one of the only projects I have repeated. It is so simple and turns out so great!
