For our last class of the year, we needed a project that could be done in one hour and had a Christmas theme. These jingle bells were perfect. We started out by painting white tree branches and snow on blue paper. We worked on only using the tip of our brush to paint thin lines. We then drew our jingle bells on colored paper, added a few details with Sharpie and used chalk pastel to add shading and highlights to turn our circles into spheres. The final touch was gluing on gold bows. We had a great time listening to Christmas music and shading our bells, great way to wrap up the year!
