After our study of Hokusai’s “The Wave off Kanazawa”, we did fish printing.  In this project we drew fish on styrofoam sheets.  We then cut the fish out, rolled on ink with brayers and printed them.  Many students doubted they could draw the fish, but they all did and did a fabulous job!  This is a simple technique with a big “wow” factor at the end.  There is such anticipation right before we pull the print.  So much fun.  They all turned out great.  Here are just a few.
